Jacob Spadoni is a Gig Harbor High School alumni, during his time there he was a two-time state participant, two time freestyle state runner-up, and two-time national participant. He then continued his wrestling career at Brair Cliff University, he wrestled in the 149 lb weight class all four years and was varsity as a junior and senior.
He graduated in 2016 with a Bachelors in Kinesology and Human Performance. He is currently finishing his Masters in Secondary Education. He has also attained his Bronze level coaches certification from USA wrestling.
This will be his third year as Head Coach for the Gig Harbor Tides.
Joe is from Meeker, Colorado. He wrestled at Meeker High School where hes was a 3-time Colorado State Champion and a CO Freestyle and Greco Roman National Dual Team Member.
He wrestled at University of Wyoming, he was a 4-time NCAA Division I All-American (First and only in UW history), 2012 Freestyle Olympic Trials Participant 84kg, Winningest wrestler in University of Wyoming history with 147 wins.
He previously was Head Assistant Coach at University of Northern Colorado 2014-2015, Head Assistant Coach at Brown University 2013-2014 and, Assistant Coach at Indiana University 2012-2013.
This will be his first year as an Assistant Coach for the Gig Harbor Tides
Lloyd is a Gig Harbor School School alumni. He went into the Marine’s after high school and was active duty for two years. He is the Regional Manager for Verizon in the area. This is his second year as Assistant Coach for The Gig Harbor Tides.
Leonard is a Gig Harbor High School alumni from the first graduating class. He wrestled Varsity at Gig Harbor. He was Assistant Coach of Gig Harbor 2010 - 2012 and Head Coach 2012 - 2016.
Aaron went to high school At South Kitsap in Port Orchard, Washington. During his time at South Kitsap, he was a state placer for them. He continued his career to Southern Oregon Community College. This will be his 7th year as an Assistant Coach for the Gig Harbor Tides.
